1994년 부동산과 인연을 맺고 5년간 2,000건이 넘는 경매물건을 취급하면서 전국 방방곡곡을 누볐다. 이 결과 평범한 은행원에서 은행권 최초의 부동산 전문 컨설턴트가 되었다. 2002년부터 우리나라 금융기관 최초로 ‘프라이빗 뱅커(PB)겸 부동산전문가 1호’로 활동 중이다. 수많은 대기업 회장을 비롯해 유명 연예인 등 대한민국 명사들의 부동산 컨설팅을 도맡아오고 있다.
실무와 이론을 겸비한 그는 현재 신한은행 부동산투자자문센터장이자 동국대학교 겸임교수이다. 또한 조선일보, 한국경제, 매일경제, 서울경제, 스포츠서울 등의 인기 칼럼니스트이다. 특히 공정하고 정확한 전망을 내놓아 부동산 이슈가 나올 때마다 주요 매체에서 앞다퉈 그의 이야기를 실으며, 다양한 주제로 부동산 강의를 진행하는 인기 강사이기도 하다.
경력으로는 신한은행 PB 부동산재테크팀장, 갤러리아팰리스지점장, 청담역지점장, 동부이촌동지점장, 신한PWM프리빌리지서울센터장을 거쳐 부동산투자자문센터장으로 재직 중이다. 2006년에는 동국대학교 대학원에서 법학박사 학위를 받았으며, 삼성경제연구소로부터 ‘ 부동산재테크 최고의 명강사 ’ 로 선정되었다.
In 1994, he became involved with real estate, and over the past five years, he sold more than 2,000 auction items and laid the groundwork throughout the country. As a result, he became the first real estate professional consultant in a banking office. Since 2002, he has been the first private banker (PB) and real estate expert in Korea. He has been in charge of real estate consulting for Korean companies including famous CEOs as well as many big companies.
He is a director of Shinhan Bank Real Estate Investment Advisory Center and an adjunct professor at Dongguk University. He is also a popular columnist for Chosun Ilbo, Korea Economy, Maeil Economy, Seoul Economy, and Sports Seoul. Especially, he is a popular lecturer who presents his story in front of major media whenever real estate issue comes out with fair and accurate view, and lectures on real estate on various topics.
He is the head of the real estate investment advisory center of Shinhan Bank PB Real Estate Investment Management Team, Galleria Palace Branch Manager, Cheongdam Station Branch Manager, Dongbu Ichon-dong Branch Manager and Shinhan PWM Privilege Seoul Center Director. In 2006, he received his law degree from Dongguk University graduate school and he was selected as “the best real estate tech company by Samsung Economic Research Institute”.
