십오 년 경력의 어린이책 전문 기획자. 오랜 연애 끝에 결혼하며 ‘내 아이에게 보여줄 책을 만들자’고 꿈에 부풀었다가 아이 낳고 송두리째 바뀐 삶에 나자빠져 책이 아닌 다른 길을 찾아 잠시 헤매었다. 하지만 부모로 사는 낯선 시간들이 생의 감각을 하나둘 일깨우면서 지금은 오히려 ‘내가 나로 사는 이야기를 책으로 나누겠다’고 즐거운 마음을 내고 있다. 요즈음은 ‘어떤 관계든 힘들여 희생하는 보살핌보다는 기꺼이 나누는 어울림이, 높은 울타리 안 보다는 울타리 너머의 너른 들판이 더욱 인간을 성장시키지 않나’ 하는 생각으로 나와 가족, 이웃을 돌아보고 있다.
