설문조사를 통해 엄마와 아이가 가장 좋아하는 베스트 아이템 50가지를 담았다. 아이템 안에는 남자아이들이 좋아하는 공룡부터 여자아이들이 좋아하는 꽃까지 모두 들어 있다. 선정한 접기는 난이도에 따라 쉬운 접기부터 난이도 있는 접기까지 순서대로 실어, 앞부분부터 차근차근 따라 접다 보면 점점 난이도 있고 멋진 작품을 접을 수 있도록 구성했다.

The survey included 50 best items for mothers and children. The items are all from dinosaurs that boys love to flowers that girls love. Depending on the degree of difficulty, the selected folds are arranged in order from easy folding to difficult folding.

유아교육을 전공하고 유치원 교사로 재직하던 시절 종이접기의 매력에 빠지게 되었다. ‘종이접기는 어려운 것’이라는 생각 때문에 아이와 함께 놀이하지 못하는 부모가 많다는 이야기를 듣고 난 후부터 쉽고 재미있으면서도 근사한 종이접기를 할 수 있다는 것을 알려 주고 싶어 이 책을 쓰게 되었다.
책에 실린 작품들은 엄마와 아이가 가장 좋아한다고 직접 뽑은 50가지 종이접기이다. 가장 좋아하는 모양을 접으면서 이야기를 나누고, 완성한 작품으로 신나게 놀이하는 아이와 엄마의 따뜻하고 행복한 시간을 떠올리며 내내 즐거운 마음으로 작업했다. 종이접기를 어렵다고 생각했던 엄마는 따라 접으면 작품이 되는 이 책을 통해 종이접기가 어렵지 않다는 것을 느끼게 될 것이며, 아이들은 엄마와 함께하는 참 쉬운 종이접기 시간이 신날 것이다.
When The author majored in early childhood education and worked as a kindergarten teacher, she was attracted to origami. She came to write this book after she heard that many parents can not play with her because of the idea that “origami is difficult” and that she can easily and funly fold origami.
The works in the book are the 50 origami origins chosen by mothers and children as their favorite. She talked while folding her favorite shapes and worked with joy all the while reminiscing about the warm and happy time of the child and her mother playing with the finished work. The mother who thought that it was difficult to origami will feel that it is not difficult to fold origami through this book which is a work. If it is folded, it will be very easy for children to fold with origami.
