연세대학교 교육학과에서 학사와 석사를 하고 독일로 유학을 가 뮌스터 대학교에서 교육학으로 박사 학위를 받았다(사회학, 철학 부전공). 현재 CHA(차) 의과학대학교 의학교육학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 한독교육학회 교육학 전문 학술지 “교육의 이론과 실천” 편집위원장으로 활동하고 있으며, 2013~2014년에는 CBS 라디오”손숙-한대수의 행복의 나라로” 수요일 ‘행복상담소’ 고정 게스트로 학부모 대상 자녀교육 상담을 했다. 저서로 “개혁교육학”, 공저로 “위대한 교육사상가들”, “새로운 학교 교육 문화 운동” 등이 있다.

The author received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Yonsei University’s Education Department and studied in Germany. She received his Ph.D. in education from Munster University (Sociology, Minor in Philosophy). Currently, she is a professor of medical education at CHA (cha) medical school. He is currently serving as editorial chairman of the “Education Theory and Practice” journal of the Korean-American Educational Society. In 2013 ~ 2014, CBS Radio “Son Sook-han” . Her books include “Reformed Education”, “Great Educational Thinkers” and “New School Education Culture Movement”.

마음속 이야기를 글과 그림으로 전하고 싶은 아티스트. 엄마가 된 후 아티스트와 엄마의 정체성 사이에서 고민하다 그 둘이 떨어질 수 없다는 것을 깨닫고 ‘아티스트맘’이 되었다.

대학에서 국문학과 서양화를 전공한 후 낮에는 미술학원에서 아이들을 가르치고 밤에는 그림 작업을 하는 생활을 했다. 남편의 직장 문제로 미국으로 이주하면서 그곳에서도 아이들을 가르치며 개인 작업을 이어갔다.

딸을 낳아 키우면서 아이에겐 미술이 곧 놀이이자 창조적인 삶의 방식이 될 수 있다는 것을 깨닫고 아이의 발달 과정과 감성에 맞는 미술놀이를 고민하기 시작했다. 어떤 미술놀이를 할지 궁리할 때가 가장 신나고, 준비한 미술놀이를 아이들이 좋아할 때 제일 뿌듯하다는 저자는 미주 “여성중앙”에 육아 만화를, 어린이 잡지 “큐티아이”에 칼럼과 일러스트레이션을 연재했다.

The most exciting time to devise an artistic play, and the most prolific when the children like the art play prepared, serialized columns and illustrations in the children’s magazine “Cutie”, a child-rearing comic book in the center of “women’s center”.

Currently, she is writing the ‘Art Mom of the Artist Mom’ column in MissyUSA, the largest Korean American community in the United States. She has been selected as a star editor in the Naver post child care field and introduces her new and exciting new art plays every week.
