미국 뉴욕 주립 대학에서 브랜드 매니지먼트를 공부했다. 한국으로 돌아와 본격적으로 영어 강사의 길을 걸으며 온·오프라인 강의를 통해 영어 초보 수강생들을 만날 수 있었다. 기초가 부족한 영어 초보자들을 위해 어려운 문법 용어에 얽매이지 않고도 영어를 잘할 수 있는 학습법을 연구하기 시작했다. 이후, 딱 ‘세 토막’이면 영어로 하고 싶은 말을 할 수 있는 ‘토막 영어 학습법’을 고안했고 이 학습법에 실생활에서 자주 쓰는 표현들을 접목하여 “세 토막 영어회화”를 집필했다. 무엇부터 시작해야 할지 막막한 영어 초보 학습자들에게 이 책이 희망이 되었으면 한다고.
현재는 EBS 2TV “메이슨의 어순 트레이닝 시즌 6”, 유튜브 “메이슨의 미드로 배우는 영어회화” 등 에너지 넘치는 강의로 수강생들의 사랑을 받고 있다.

The author studied brand management at New York State University. He came back to Korea and walked the path of English instructor in earnest. He was able to meet the beginner students of English through on-line and off-line lectures. For beginners who lack basic English, He started to study how to learn English without being bound by difficult grammar terms. After that, he devised a ‘Teaching English Teaching Method’ which can say what he wants to say in English if it is just ‘Teaching Teaching’ and he wrote “3 Pieces English” by combining expressions frequently used in real life. He hope this book will be a hope for beginners who have a hard time learning what to start with.

There is a mistake and the calculation is slow, so I can not even try to solve the problem. The basis of mathematics is computational power, and calculations must be accurate and fast, without mistakes. If you are confident in your calculations, you have room for your brain, and you can pour out this margin to solve your problems.
