Following Number Farm, Shape Farm is published!
Volume 2 of the ‘Math Edition’ in the ‘Farm’ series loved by children has been released. After passing the number farm, you reach the ‘shape farm.’
In “Coding Math Fairy Tale Farm 2: Shape Farm,” Junie and Gurney encounter various shapes, such as triangles and squares, that have been cursed by a cursed doll. As you break the curse one by one using Junie’s amazing and interesting inventions, the scorpion scissors and the round and round tabal tube, you can also collect one or two strange cards with shapes drawn on them. Junie and Gurney escape the round cave and the square maze room, solve the law of the golden spider web, and swim in the triangular lake with ancient fish. As you follow the process of solving the curse of Shape Farm, you will naturally learn everything from mathematical concepts such as shapes, circles, and the Seven Bridges to coding concepts such as selection structures and algorithms.

The author is the head of the R & D team at the Elementary Computing Teachers Association and is a primary school teacher. She has completed the Ph.D. program in elementary computer education at Korea National University of Education, and is a SW education instructor of the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology, and a remote education instructor of the SW education department of the Ministry of Education, and EBS is a SW education instructor.
