전라남도 고흥에서 태어났습니다. 세종대학교 회화과를 거쳐 프랑스 스트라스부르 고등장식미술학교를 졸업했습니다. 프랑스에서 16년 동안 조각가로, 만화가로 활동하면서 100권이 넘는 한국 만화책을 프랑스어로 번역해 널리 알렸습니다.
Geum Sook Kim was born in Goheung, Jeollanamdo. After graduating from Painting Department of Sejong University, the author graduated from Strasbourg Higher School of Decorative Arts. During 16 years as a sculptor and comic artist in France, Kim has translated more than 100 Korean comic books into French.
