고려대 영어영문학과를 졸업하고, 고려대 대학원 법학과에서 국제법(국제경제법) 석사 및 박사학위를 취득했다. 고려대 법학연구원에서 WTO 관련 연구를 통해 외교통상부, 산업자원부 등 각 정부 부처의 WTO 관련 연구용역에 다수 참여했고, 고려대, 대진대, 광운대, 성신여대 등에서 국제법을 강의했다. 영어 교육 및 출판 업무를 주로 하는 (주)KP Global Edu.와 (주)KP Publisher를 설립하여 대표이사를 역임했으며, 배움에 대한 또 다른 갈증으로 마흔이 넘은 늦은 나이에 미국으로 유학을 떠나 The University of Texas at Austin의 McCombs School of Business에서 MBA를 취득했다. 국제분쟁의 우호적 해결을 목표로 설립된 국제조정센터(KIMC.seoul.kr)의 이사로서 협상 및 조정 관련 강의와 저술 활동에도 참여 중이다. 연구, 출판, 강연 등을 통해 자유라는 가치를 보다 많은 사람들에게 전파하고자 설립된 연구공간 자유의 대표로서 자유, 논리, 영어, 교육, 분쟁 등 인문&사회과학의 다양한 주제에 대한 책을 집필 중이다.
After graduating from the Department of English Language and Literature at Korea University, she received her master’s and doctoral degrees in international law (international economic law) from the Department of Law at Korea University Graduate School. He participated in a number of WTO-related research services for each government department, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, through WTO-related research at Korea University Law Research Institute, and lectured on international law at Korea University, Daejin University, Kwangwoon University, and Sungshin Women’s University. The author established KP Global Edu. Co., Ltd. and KP Publisher Co., Ltd., which are mainly engaged in English education and publishing, and served as the CEO. He holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. As a director of the International Mediation Center (KIMC.seoul.kr), which was established with the goal of amicably resolving international disputes, he is also participating in lectures and writing activities related to negotiation and mediation. As a representative of Freedom, a research space established to spread the value of freedom to more people through research, publication, and lectures, he is writing books on various topics in the humanities and social sciences, such as freedom, logic, English, education, and conflict.
