조성준(Jo, Sungjoon)
‘대한민국 최고의 데이터마이닝 전문가’이자 서울대학교 산업공학과 교수로, 서울대학교 산업공학과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 석사 학위를 받았다. 미국 워싱턴대학교에서 인공지능 연구로 석사 학위, 메릴랜드대학교에서 신경망과 기계학습 연구로 박사 학위를 받았다. 현재 서울대학교 데이터마이닝센터 센터장과 국무총리 산하 공공데이터전략위원회 공동위원장을 맡고 있으며, 정부3.0추진위원회 빅데이터전문위원장과 한국데이터마이닝학회 회장을 지냈다.
As ‘Korea’s best data mining expert’ and professor of Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University, he graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University and received his master’s degree from the same graduate school. He received his master’s degree in artificial intelligence research from the University of Washington, USA, and his doctorate in neural networks and machine learning research from the University of Maryland. He currently serves as the head of Seoul National University’s Data Mining Center Center and co-chair of the Public Data Strategy Committee under the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as the head of the Big Data Specialist Committee of the Government 3.0 Promotion Committee and the President of the Korea Data Mining Society.
김현용(Kim, Hyunyong)
현재 서울대학교 산업공학과 데이터마이닝 연구실에서 박사과정을 밟고 있으며, 파이낸셜 데이터옵스 기술 기반 스타트업 ㈜프리즘39의 대표를 맡고 있다. 서울대학교 응용생물화학부와 통계학과에서 학부 졸업한 후 AXA에서 프라이싱 스페셜리스트로 금융 데이터를 분석했다. 퇴사 후 서울대학교 산업공학과 데이터마이닝 연구실에서 석사 학위를 취득했으며, 데이터 기반 자동화 기술과 머신러닝 기술의 금융 분야 응용에 많은 관심을 갖고 있다.
He is currently pursuing a PhD in the Data Mining Lab of the Department of Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University, and is the CEO of Prism39, a financial data ops technology-based startup. After graduating from the Department of Applied Biochemistry and Statistics at Seoul National University, he analyzed financial data as a pricing specialist at AXA. After he retired, he obtained a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University and Data Mining Lab. He is very interested in the application of data-driven automation technology and machine learning technology to the financial field.
박서영(Park, Seoyoung)
현재 펜실베이니아대학의 와튼스쿨에서 박사과정을 밟고 있다. 듀크대학에서 공공정책학 학사 학위를 받았고, 워싱턴 디씨의 부즈 알렌 해밀턴에서 컨설턴트로 근무했다. 당시 데이터마이닝에 관심을 갖게 돼 각종 온라인 강의로 독학했다. 이후 서울대학교 산업공학과에서 석사과정을 시작해 데이터마이닝 연구실에서 다양한 연구 개발 경험을 쌓았으며, 2021년 2월 석사 학위를 취득했다.
She is currently pursuing her PhD at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She received her BA in Public Policy from Duke University and worked as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, DC. She became interested in data mining at the time, so she taught himself through various online lectures. After that, she started a master’s program at Seoul National University’s Department of Industrial Engineering and gained various R&D experiences in the data mining lab, and obtained her master’s degree in February 2021.
안용대(Ahn, Yongdae)
현재 동형암호 기술 기반 스타트업 ㈜디사일로에서 데이터 사이언스팀 팀장을 맡고 있고, 세종대학교 호텔관광대학 호텔관광경영학과 LINC+ 관광플랫폼 D&M 트랙 연구 교수를 겸임하고 있다. 한국과학기술원 산업 및 시스템공학과를 학부 졸업한 후 현대중공업 조선사업기획부에서 3년간 근무했다. 퇴사 후 서울대학교 산업공학과 데이터마이닝 연구실에서 석·박사 통합과정으로 2021년 8월 박사 졸업했다. 대학원 과정 중에 쇼박스, LG전자, LS산전, 현대자동차 등 다양한 기업의 데이터 분석 관련 연구 과제에 참여했다.
Currently, he is the data science team leader at Dsilo, a start-up based on homomorphic encryption technology, and is concurrently serving as a research professor at the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, Sejong University Hotel and Tourism College, LINC+ Tourism Platform D&M Track. After graduating from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, he worked for 3 years in the shipbuilding business planning department of Hyundai Heavy Industries. After he retired, he graduated from Seoul National University’s Department of Industrial Engineering and Data Mining Lab in August 2021 with an integrated master’s and doctoral program. During his graduate studies, he participated in research projects related to data analysis of various companies such as Showbox, LG Electronics, LS Industrial Systems, and Hyundai Motor Company.
임성연(Lim, Sungyeon)
현재 서울대학교 산업공학과 데이터마이닝 연구실에서 석·박사 통합 과정을 밟고 있다. 영국 임페리얼 칼리지 런던에서 수학 학사 학위를 취득했고, 홍콩 HSBC에서 비즈니스 애널리스트, 홍콩 BNP 파리바에서 시스템 애널리스트로 근무했다. 금융 데이터와 머신러닝 기술에 대한 관심으로 다양한 연구 개발 활동을 이어가고 있다.
The author is currently pursuing an integrated master’s and doctoral course in the Data Mining Lab, Department of Industrial Engineering, Seoul National University. The author holds a BA in Mathematics from Imperial College London, UK, and has worked as a business analyst at HSBC in Hong Kong and a systems analyst at BNP Paribas in Hong Kong. The author continues various research and development activities with interest in financial data and machine learning technology.
