The TOEIC needs to be focused on in a short period of time by grasping your level and determining your desired score. Beginners with insufficient skills tend to study theories step by step because they don’t know what to start with, which can be a waste of time. This is because the TOEIC is a test, and the test is not a theory, but a ‘practice’. The theory of reckless memorization without showing how it is applied to problem solving does not develop a sense of practice. To compensate for that, this book is designed to learn theories through problem solving, and focuses on connecting theory and practice. 1998년에 YBM시사어학원에서 토익 강의로 첫 발을 디딘 저자는 데뷔 1년 만에 강남에서 토익 강자로 이름을 떨치며 각종 언론에 소개되었다. 최초로 종로 YBM 시사 어학원 본원으로 스카우트 되면서 토익 시장을 석권하였고 지금까지 20권이 넘는 토익 책을 출간했다. 15년 간의 방대한 토익 기출문제 데이터베이스를 바탕으로한 통찰력과 분석력으로 토익책을 집필하는데, 그 중에서도 시험에 나오는 것만 찍어주는 최고의 적중률로 유명하다. 그의 강의는 잡다한 이론은 빼고 시험에 나오는 내용만 ‘문제 풀이 위주’로 하는 것이 특징이다.
The author, who made his first step into TOEIC lecture at YBM Sisa Language School in 1998, was introduced to various media in the name of TOEIC in Gangnam in his first year of his debut. He was the first to be scouted by Jongno YBM Sisa Language School and won the TOEIC market. He has published more than 20 TOEIC books so far. He has written a TOEIC book with insights and analytical skills based on 15 years of extensive TOEIC issues. He is best known for his excellent hit rate, which only takes the test. His lecture is characterized by the fact that only the contents of the exams except ‘miscellaneous theories’ are based on ‘problem solving’.

엄대섭(Um, Daeseop)
YBM 전국 수강생 수 1위 ‘급상승 토익 팀’ 강사로, 2016년 시행된 신(新)토익을 전국 최초로 강의했다. 15년 동안 토익을 강의하며 매회 정기 토익의 출제 경향을 꼼꼼히 분석하고 다음 시험을 예측하여 적중률 높은 자료를 축적해왔다. 그 자료를 바탕으로 문제를 만들고 현장 강의처럼 생생한 해설을 실어, 혼자서 공부하는데 최적화된 “시나공 혼자서 끝내는 토익 실전 모의고사”를 집필했다.
As a lecturer of the “rising TOEIC team” who ranked No. 1 in the number of YBM students nationwide, he lectured for the first time in the nation for the new TOEIC in 2016.
