눈이 많이 오고 사과가 맛있기로 유명한 일본 아오모리 현 출신. 일본어를 공부하는 한국인 남편 코니와 함께 일본어와 일본문화 콘텐츠를 올리는 유튜브 채널 사요(Sayo)를 운영하고 있다. 현재 구독자는 7만 명, 업로드한 영상은 350여 개에 달한다. 교과서에서나 나올 법한 딱딱한 일본어가 아닌 네이티브가 알려주는 진짜 일본어 표현을 배울 수 있는 채널로 구독자들의 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 수많은 구독자들과 일본어라는 주제로 소통해 온 경험을 살려, 젊은 사람들의 관심사를 테마로 매일 쓰는 일상 대화를 정리한 책을 집필하게 되었다.
The author is from Aomori, Japan, famous for having a lot of snow and delicious apples. She runs the YouTube channel Sayo, which brings Japanese and Japanese cultural content together with her Korean husband, Connie, who is studying Japanese. Currently, there are 70,000 subscribers and 350 uploaded videos. It is a channel where you can learn real Japanese expressions that are taught by non-rigid Japanese, which are not available in textbooks. She took advantage of her experience in communicating with a large number of subscribers on the subject of Japanese, and wrote a book that summarizes everyday conversations that are written daily on the theme of young people’s interests.
