사자, 호랑이, 나비, 꽃, 사과, 소방차, 엄마, 아빠… 아이는 크면서 우리 주변 사물의 생김새와 이름을 하나하나 알아 간다. 3~4살 무렵이 되면 엄마한테 이것저것 그려 달라고 조르기 시작한다. 그럴 때마다 그림에 자신이 없는 엄마는 당황하게 된다. 나름대로 열심히 그려 주려 하지만 표현 방식에 한계를 느끼기 마련이다. 이 책은 그런 엄마들을 위해 만들었다. 아이가 그려 달라고 하는 것이 있다면 책에서 찾아보고 그대로 따라 그려 보자. 몇 번 펜을 움직이는 것만으로 꽤 그럴듯한 그림이 완성된다.
Lion, tiger, butterfly, flower, apple, fire truck, mom, dad … As the children grow up, they get to know each other’s appearance and names one by one. When the children are about 3 or 4 years old, they start to ask their mother to draw something like that. Whenever they do not have confidence in the picture, mothers becomes embarrassed. Mothers try to draw it in my own way, but it limits the way of expression. This book was made for such moms. If there is something that the child wants you to draw, look it up in the book and draw it as it is. Just move the pen a few times to complete a pretty plausible picture.
