900점을 쉽게 넘긴 친구들을 주변에서 흔히 볼 수 있지만, 막상 공부해보면 700점을 받는 것조차 그리 쉬운 일이 아니란 걸 알게 된다. 그들은 어떻게 쉽게 900점을 넘겼을까? 우리는 과연 올바른 방법으로 학습하고 있는 것일까? 정답은 없지만 결론적으로 가장 효율적인 방법으로 학습하는 것이 지름길이다. 그렇다면 빨리 고득점을 받는 효율적인 학습 방법은 무엇일까? 바로 토익이 시험이라는 점을 이용한 학습법이다.
첫 번째, 시험의 특성상 가장 중요한 것부터 배워야 한다. 토익은 매달 나오는 문제, 두 달에 한 번 나오는 문제, 일 년에 한 번 나오는 문제처럼 출제 주기가 정해져 있다. 이 점을 이용해 우리는 우선순위의 내용을 먼저 학습해 시간을 절약해야 한다. 달리 얘기하면 시간이 넉넉하지 않고, 꼭 900점을 넘겨야 하는 상황이 아니라면 1~2년에 한 번 나오는 중요하지 않은 내용은 학습하지 않아도 괜찮다. 어쨌든 가장 중요한 것부터 순차적으로 학습하는 것이 토익을 단기간에 정복하는 1순위 비법이다.
두 번째, 하나를 배우더라도 반드시 이론 습득과 함께 문제 푸는 실력도 함께 길러야 한다. 더불어 풀이 시간을 단축할 수 있는 최적화된 문제풀이 전략을 함께 훈련하면 금상첨화이다. 토익은 예상 외로 풀이 시간이 부족하다는 것을 항상 유념하며 시간을 줄이는 전략을 체득해야 한다.
결국 토익도 시험이다. 진정한 영어 실력을 평가하기보다는 토익에 얼마나 익숙한 지를 평가한다. 출제자의 의도가 그러하므로 이 점을 이용해 현명하게 공부하자. 단 한 개의 유형을 공부하더라도 자주 출제되는 것을 바로 문제에 적용할 수 있도록 학습하면 여러분은 진정한 토익 전략가이다.

You can easily see your friends who have passed 900 points easily, but if you study it, you will find that even getting 700 points is not easy. How did they easily pass 900 points? Are we learning in the right way? There is no correct answer, but in conclusion, learning in the most efficient way is a shortcut. So what is an effective learning method that gets high scores quickly? It is a learning method using the fact that TOEIC is a test.
First, the nature of the test should teach you the most important ones. TOEIC has a fixed cycle, like monthly issues, bi-monthly issues, and once-a-year issues. Using this point, you must first learn the priority content and save time. If you do not have a lot of time to talk about it, and you do not have to pass 900 points, you do not have to learn anything that is not important once a year or two. Anyway, learning from the most important ones sequentially is the first secret way to conquer TOEIC in a short time.
Second, even if you learn one, you must also acquire theories and develop skills to solve problems. In addition, it is better to train with an optimized problem solving strategy that can shorten the time to solve. You have to learn a strategy that will save you time, always keeping in mind that TOEIC is lacking in time and time.
Finally, TOEIC is also a test. Evaluate how familiar you are with TOEIC than evaluate your true English skills. This is the intention of the applicant, so let’s study it wisely.
