유년 시절 8년간 포르투갈 리스본에서 미국국제학교, 영국 런던에서 중고등학교를 마치고, 한국에 와 연세대 경영학과를 졸업했다. 한 달 만에 TOEIC 990점, 6개월 만에 외대통역번역대학원 한영과 입학시험에 합격할 만큼 영어시험 공략에도 일가견이 있다. 졸업 후 삼성과 소니코리아에서 근무하다 영어강사의 길을 걷게 됐다. 강남의 학원가에서 실전에 강해지는 영어 강의로 명성을 쌓던 중 ‘영어교육 콘텐츠 크리에이터’로 지식채널 EBSe에서 강의했으며, 메가스터디, 엠베스트 등의 베스트 강사로 활약했다.
그동안 저자는 바쁜 현대인들이 빠르고 효과적으로 영어를 익힐 수 있는 학습법을 꾸준히 연구해 왔다. 그리고 3년여의 준비기간을 거쳐 드디어 12년 영어 강의 노하우를 담은 국내 최초 객관식 영어회화 훈련 프로그램 “영어회화 벼락치기”를 개발했다. 189명의 직장인과 대학생을 대상으로 한 베타테스트를 통해 학습효과를 확인했으며, 독자들의 보다 완벽한 학습을 돕고자 무료 팟캐스트 강의도 직접 진행했다. 이 책이 ‘벼락처럼 빠르고 강력하게’ 많은 이들의 영어 고민을 해소해 주기를 기대하고 있다.
After graduating from American International School in Lisbon, Portugal, and Secondary School in London, England, for 8 years as a child, he graduated from Korea and Yonsei University. He has 990 TOEIC scores in a month, and he has a good chance of succeeding in the English test so that he can pass the entrance examination of HanYoung, the Graduate School of Translation and Interpreting, in 6 months. After graduating, he went to Samsung and Sony Korea and became an English instructor. He was a famous English instructor at the school in Gangnam. He taught at the EBSe Knowledge Channel as an English education contents creator. He was the best instructor of Megastudy and M-Best.
In the meantime, the author has been steadily studying learning methods that busy modern people can learn English quickly and effectively. After three years of preparation, he finally developed the first ever English-language conversation training program, “Cramming English Conversation” which has 12 years of know-how in English classes. A beta test of 189 employees and college students confirmed the effectiveness of the study and directly led to free podcast lectures to help readers learn more fully. The author expects this book to be “quick and powerful as a thunderstorm” and to resolve many of their English concerns.
