아버지가 외교관인 그녀는 생후9개월부터 멕시코, 뉴질랜드, 아프리카, 미국 등 세계 각지를 누비며 살다 영어 교육에 뜻을 두고 한국에 돌아와 영어를 가르치기 시작했다. EBS FM, 아리랑 라디오, 국군 방송 등 여러 영어 프로그램을 진행했으며, 성우로도 활동 하고 있다. 현재는 EBS FM “팝스 잉글리시”를 비롯한 다수의 영어 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.
