건설주 투기가 이끈 1970년대 1차 상승기부터 5년 6개월의 횡보기를 탈출하고 상승기에 접어든 2017년까지 40년 코스피 역사를 한 눈에 살펴볼 수 있다. 반복되는 역사 속에서 각 시기마다 나타났던 공통지표를 파악하고, 변곡점에 나타난 지표를 읽을 수 있다면 개미투자자도 미래를 예측할 수 있다고 저자는 말한다.
