‘토이스토리’ 애니메이션을 처음 본 날 나도 저런 애니메이션을 직접 만들어보고 싶다고 생각했습니다. ‘토이스토리’ 시리즈가 계속해서 만들어지는 동안 3D 그래픽을 공부했으며 그 꿈을 이룰 수 있었습니다. FACE에서 TV 시리즈 애니메이션 및 VR 프로젝트에 참여하였으며 애니메이션뿐만 아니라 극동 ArtTV, 메디TV, JnetTV 방송타이틀 제작에 참여하였습니다. 서울여자대학교 멀티미디어, 동국대학교 영상대학원 멀티미디어디자인 석사, 디지털애니메이션 박사를 졸업했습니다. 현재 국내외 전시에 참여하며 디지털 아트워크 작가로 활동하고 있습니다. 2007년부터 계원조형예술대학, 남서울대학교, 경민대학, 공주대학교, 나사렛대학교, 평택대학교에서 출강하였으며 현재는 한국예술원 디자인예술계열 전임교수로 재직 중에 있습니다.

The first day I saw the ‘Toy Story’ animation, I thought that I would like to try making an animation like that myself. While the ‘Toy Story’ series continued to be made, I studied 3D graphics and was able to achieve that dream. Participated in TV series animation and VR projects at FACE, and participated in the production of broadcasting titles for Far East ArtTV, MediTV, and JnetTV as well as animation. I graduated from Seoul Women’s University Multimedia, Dongguk University Graduate School of Media, Multimedia Design, and Digital Animation Ph.D. I am currently participating in domestic and international exhibitions and working as a digital artwork artist. And since 2007, I have taught at Kaywon College of Art and Design, Namseoul University, Kyungmin University, Gongju University, Nazarene University, and Pyeongtaek University, and I am currently a full-time professor in the Design Arts Department at the Korea Institute of Arts.

An ordinary housewife who was far from painting, established herself as an emoticon artist! She went through 20 disapprovals and got her first approval, and since then she’s been disapproved more than 100 times, but she hasn’t given up. As a result, within a year and a half of the challenge, she was approved for a total of 20 types of Kakao emoticons, and in addition to the Kakao Emoji Shop, she released more than 150 various emoticons in Naver OQG Market, Mohi Talk, and Emo Tick Box. She is currently active as a character designer.
