대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)에 입사, 파나마 무역관 부관장으로 근무했다. 중남미 무역 중심지인 파나마에서 한국 자동차 부품 무역상의 가능성을 발견하고, 1995년 의욕적으로 첫 무역사를 시작했다. 그러나 중남미 현지의 풍부한 경험, 바이어들과의 돈독한 관계에도 불구하고 국내 물품조달 문제로 고배를 마셨다. 그 후로도 IMF 외환위기와 중국과의 가격경쟁 등 여러 시련이 닥쳤지만, 좌절하지 않고 새로운 아이템으로 무장하고 시장을 개척하며 소기업 무역상으로 성장했다.
현재는 필맥스 대표로 발가락양말을 수출하고, 맨발신발(barefoot shoes)을 수입하고 있다. 또한 20여년 동안 무역업을 해오면서 직접 경험하고 터득한 무역 실무지식을 초보 무역업자들과 공유하며 집필 및 인터넷 카페 활동도 활발히 하고 있다.

대형 법무법인에서 다양한 상속 소송을 진행하면서 일반인도 상속법을 미리 알아둘 필요가 있음을 느꼈다. 상대적으로 전문적인 지식에 취약한 대중의 편에서 상속법을 쉽게 풀어 도와주고 싶은 마음으로 책을 집필했다. 특유의 섬세함과 꼼꼼함으로 일반인들이 꼭 알아야 할 상속법만 핵심적으로 골랐다.
이화여자대학교 법과대학을 졸업하고 제47회 사법시험에 합격, 현재 법무법인 지평에서 변호사로 활동 중이다.

The author felt that it was necessary to know the law of succession in advance of the various inheritance lawsuits in a large law firm. She wrote books on the side of the public who are vulnerable to relatively professional knowledge, with the desire to help solve the inheritance law easily. She chose only the inheritance law that the ordinary people should know because of the delicacy and meticulousness.
The author graduated from Ewha Womans University College of Law and passed the 47th Judicial Examination. Currently, he is a lawyer in Jipyoung, a law firm.

10여 년 동안 상속전문 회계사로 활동하며, 작게는 1억원부터 크게는 1,000억원이 넘는 상속세 관련 자문을 수행했다. 그때마다 집 한 채가 전부인 평범한 사람들도 상속으로부터 자유롭지 못하다는 것을 깨달았고, 상속법과 상속세법의 규정들을 잘 알지 못해 낭패를 본 사람들을 보며 상속 지식을 널리 알리기로 마음먹었다. 사소한 세법 지식 하나가 소중한 돈을 지켜주는 방패막이가 되어준다고 생각하며 최대한 친절하고 이해하기 쉽게 책을 집필했다.
서울대학교를 졸업하고 삼일, 다산, 한영 등 대형 회계법인을 거쳐 현재는 법무법인 지평의 상속전문 회계사로 일하면서, 중부지방국세청 국선 세무대리인으로도 활동 중이다.

He has been working as an inherited professional accountant for more than 10 years. He has advised on inheritance tax of over 100 billion won from small 100 million won. 체인점만 2,500여개인 대형 프랜차이즈 현장에서 일하며, 누구에게나 성공의 기회가 주어지는 프랜차이즈 산업의 매력과 법과 정보에 취약한 가맹점주들의 불리한 현실을 모두 경험했다. 변호사로서, 자신의 권리를 알지 못해 돈을 잃는 이들에게 정당한 권리를 정확히 알려주고, 약자일수록 더욱 큰 목소리를 낼 수 있도록 도와주고자 이 책을 집필했다.
