Geum Sook Kim was born in Goheung, Jeollanamdo. After graduating from Painting Department of Sejong University, the author graduated from Strasbourg Higher School of Decorative Arts. During 16 years as a sculptor and comic artist in France, Kim has translated more than 100 Korean comic books into French.
