This book was designed as a book that enables students to study historical studies from the 3rd to 4th grades before they learn the syntax of Korean history in earnest. If you are interested in the history of Korean history through the whole story of history through person talks, you will be able to complete a solid basic foundation and believe that you will be able to facilitate the study of higher grade Korean history.

이 책은 “삼국사기”, “삼국유사”, “고려사” 등 옛 사료를 인용하고, 이를 해석해 주면서 어린이들에게 역사 지식을 전달하는 방법을 많이 쓰고 있습니다. 역사 지식이 그저 교과서에 담긴 것이 아니라 이처럼 수백 년 전 옛 사료로부터 시작된 것임을 보여 주는 것이지요.
이와 함께 저자는 역사란 옛 사료를 오늘날 해석해 내는 학문으로, 옛 기록을 누가 썼으며 왜 썼는지 꼼꼼히 따져 봐야 한다고 말합니다. 이와 같은 질문을 어린이 독자들에게 직접 던지면서 역사를 일방적으로 받아들이지 않고 스스로 탐구하고 판단하도록 독려하고 있습니다.

This book cites old sources such as “Samguksagi”, “Samgukyusa”, “Goryeosa”, and interprets it, and uses a lot of methods to convey the knowledge of history to children. Historical knowledge is not just in textbooks, but shows that it originated from ancient feeds hundreds of years ago.
The author says that history is a discipline that interprets the old fodder today, and it should be carefully scrutinized who wrote the old record and why. Throwing these questions directly to children’s readers, we encourage them to explore and judge for themselves without accepting history unilaterally.
