30년 현장에서 활동한 국제금융전문가!
서울신탁은행(현 하나은행)국제부에 입사하여 주택은행(현 국민은행)에서 외환업무실장, 국제부장을 역임하며 30여년 동안 국제 환율통으로 활약했다. 특히 국내 최초로 시도된 ‘외환전문가 양성과정’에 선발되어 미국 케미칼은행(현 JP모건체이스의 전신)딜링룸 연수를 시작으로, 서울신탁은행 뉴욕지점 외환업무 책임자, 주택은행 뉴욕 지사장 등 세계 금융시장의 중심이자 환율전쟁의 최전선인 뉴욕에서 외환금융 업무를 책임졌다.
주택은행 국제부장으로 재직 당시 IMF 외환위기를 겪으며 홍콩, 런던, 뉴욕 등의 외국 금융기관과 투자자들을 상대로 한국에 대한 투자설명회를 진행해 상당한 외화자금을 유치하였다. 최근까지 백석문화대학교에서 교수로 재직하며 학생들을 가르쳤고, 현재는 금융시장 시스템과 환율이 우리 경제생활에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하며 저술활동에 힘쓰고 있다.

International finance professionals who have worked on the site for 30 years!
He joined the International Department of the Seoul Trust Bank (now Hana Bank) and served as the foreign exchange business manager and international manager at the Housing Bank (now Kookmin Bank). He was selected as the first foreign currency expert training course in Korea and received a training room in the US Chemical Bank (now formerly JP Morgan Chase) dealer room. He was responsible for the foreign exchange banking business in New York, the center of the global financial market and the forefront of the currency wars, including the director of the Foreign Exchange Department of the Seoul Trust Bank and the New York branch of the Housing Bank.
He served as an international director of the Korea Housing Bank, and underwent a crisis in the IMF during his tenure as an investment adviser to foreign financial institutions and investors in Hong Kong, London and New York. He has been teaching at Baekseok Culture University until now. He is currently studying the effect of financial market system and exchange rate on our economic life.

경제경영 전문 인디라이터(Independent Writer). 1967년생. 대학에서 영문학을 전공했으며 졸업 후 10여 년 동안 잡지 기자 생활을 했다. 중앙일보 iWeekly 기자, 일본 IT주간신문 BCN 서울주재 기자를 지냈고 중앙일보 비즈넷타임즈, 이코노미21 객원기자로도 활동했다.
2005년부터 프리랜서로 잡지 편집과 출판 기획 분야에서 일해 왔으며 정부와 기업 혁신 활동과 관련된 전문 필자로도 활동해왔다. 그는 딱딱하고 어려운 경제, 경영 이론을 쉽게 풀어내는 데 관심을 가지고 있다.

Independent writer who mainly deals with economic management. Born in 1967. He majored in English literature at university and spent 10 years as a journalist. JoongAng Ilbo reporter iWeekly, Japan IT weekly newspaper BCN Seoul reporter, JoongAng Ilbo BizNet Times, Economy 21 guest journalist.
