민조네 엄마는 몸이 아파 병원에 입원해 있어요. 수술을 해야만 한대요. 아빠와 둘이서 지내던 어느 날, 민조는 꿈을 꿨어요. 안개 숲을 헤매다가 오늘이라는 여자아이를 만나 원천강으로 가는데, 거기에는 엄마가 병이 빨리 나았으면 하는 민조의 소망을 들어줄 사람이 기다리고 있대요. 그리고 민조는 그곳에서 다 나은 엄마의 모습을 만나게 돼요.
하지만 깨고 보니 모든 건 꿈이었답니다. 그러나 그날 밤, 다시 오늘이가 민조의 방을 찾아왔어요. 시간 여행을 할 수 있는 새, 봉봉이를 민조에게 주고는 민화 여행을 떠날 수 있도록 해 주었지요. 그다음 날부터 이상한 일이 생겨요. 중요한 순간마다 민조는 봉봉이와 함께 ‘팟!’ 소리를 내며 사라져 버리지요. 그렇게 조선으로 시간 여행을 떠나 화가인 유랑 아저씨는 만나는데…민조에게는 이제 어떤 일이 생길까요?

Minjo’s mom is sick in hospital. She has to do the surgery. One day when he was with his dad, Minjo had a dream. Minjo wander in the mist forest and meet a girl named Ouneol and head to the Woncheon River, where there is a hermit waiting to hear the wishes of the minjo who wants her to get better soon. And Minjo meets his mother all over.
But when he woke up, everything was a dream. But that night, Ouneol came back to Minjo’s room again. She gave Bonbongi, a bird that can travel on time, to Minjo and allowed her to go on a trip to Korean tradition folk painting world. The next day, something strange happened. At every important moment, Minjo disappears with a bonbong sound. So he went on a time trip to Chosun and met an painter yourang … What will happen to Minjo now?

Kyoungho Kim studied jurisprudence at university. The author made his debut as a cartoonist in a cartoon magazine “Weekly Comics”. His most notable works are “Mudong the ghhostly general “, “Class B Screen”, “Jordan returnes”, “Ppundegis”, “Cheated Fighters”. Geum Sook Kim was born in Goheung, Jeollanamdo. After graduating from Painting Department of Sejong University, the author graduated from Strasbourg Higher School of Decorative Arts. During 16 years as a sculptor and comic artist in France, Kim has translated more than 100 Korean comic books into French.
