대학에서 지구 과학 교육을 공부하고 중학교에서 학생들을 가르치다가 지금은 다시 서울대학교 사범대학원에서 환경 교육을 공부하고 있습니다. 어렸을 때 선생님이 보던 진달래꽃을 미래의 어린이들도 볼 수 있을까 생각하며 환경 교육에 관심을 가지게 되었어요. ‘환경과 생명을 지키는 전국 교사 모임’에서 일하며 환경 교육 프로그램을 연구하고 있습니다.
환경을 사랑하는 사람들과 함께 쓴 책으로 “중학교 환경 탐구”와 “생명의 숨결 되살리는 녹색 교실”, “환경 책, 바로 보면 바로 자란다” 등이 있습니다.

Lee has studied earth science education in college, taught students in middle school, and now he is studying environmental education at Seoul National University Graduate School of Education. The author has been interested in environmental education because he thinks that future children can also see the azalea flowers that he saw when he was a child. He was working on an environmental education program at the National Teachers’ Union to Protect the Environment and the Life.
