고려대학교 법학과를 졸업하고 한국거래소를 거쳐 동서증권에서 20년 근무했다. 한국투자증권 이사를 역임하였으며 교보증권, 신한금융투자, 하나대투증권에서 투자상담사 및 고문으로 활동했다.
